Railway Special Fastening Components

Railway Special Fastening Components

Railway Special Fastening Components are high-strength elements that ensure the secure and long-lasting fixation of rails, sleepers, turnouts, and superstructure steel components. These fasteners are produced in various types such as rail bolts, square head bolts, special nuts, clip-type system fasteners, pad bolt sets, and spring washers. Each is designed to withstand vibration, dynamic loads, and temperature variations occurring in railway systems.

During production, high-strength steels (e.g., grade 8.8, 10.9, or 12.9) are used in accordance with international standards such as ISO 898-1, EN 14399, and UIC 864-1. To enhance corrosion resistance, surface treatments are applied using methods like hot-dip galvanizing, zinc-nickel plating, or phosphating.

These special fastening components are used in rail turnout systems, sleeper connections, bridge and portal assemblies, signal poles, and catenary systems. Based on project-specific requirements, parameters such as length, thread profile, head shape, and coating type are custom-designed and manufactured. This ensures maximum mechanical performance and long-term operational safety in railway applications.
